Climate Week 2017: 18-22 September
Climate Week 2017 is a national initiative designed to raise awareness and inspire action on climate change. This year Climate Week is taking place from 18th to 22nd September, with organisations from across Scotland taking part.
This week of activities and events aims to highlight the importance of reducing emissions and adapting to a changing climate. The objective is to engage and inspire, by involving people across the country in a range of activities. For companies, charities, public sector organisations or community groups Climate Week presents a great opportunity to engage with staff, clients, partners, friends and the public. Whether you run one event or several, you’ll find out what people think, get some conversation going and enable further climate friendly actions.
Climate Week 2016 saw a range of organisation participating. Activities taking place throughout the week included tours of sustainable buildings or infrastructure, electric vehicle demonstrations, presentations from inspirational speakers, film viewings, or presentations highlighting recent climate change projects, plans or policies.
More information on registering for Climate Week 2017 will be published soon.
