What will your life be like in 2030?
How will we all be living? What changes do you want to see in your local community, and across Scotland by 2030?
The Climate Conversations How To Guide has been developed so anyone can hold a climate conversation about what our options might be - locally and nationally – in reducing the causes and the effects of a changing climate.
The conversations last around an hour and work well with around 8 to 12 people. The How To Guide gives step-by-step instructions for setting up and running a conversation with colleagues, groups or communities. If you are a member of a book group, for example, and you read a book that touches on climate change you could hold a Climate Conversation to have a more focussed discussion about the topic. You can also use the guide to help prompt more casual conversations about climate change with family, friends, and groups.
Here are some people sharing their thoughts and perspectives on climate change.
The Scottish Government has initiated these conversations to encourage a discussion about how we can reduce the emissions that cause climate change, and prepare for a changing climate.
