What’s on offer?
Insulation and heating packages are available to qualifying low income and vulnerable households if you own your home or rent privately.
A range of support is on offer including free heating and hot water measures, insulation measures such as draught proofing, window glazing, and boiler replacement.
Who can apply?
If are having trouble paying your energy bills or keeping your home warm it is always worth enquiring about support available. If you also own or rent privately you may be eligible for support via Affordable Warmth. If there are persons in receipt of Child Tax Credit (threshold £15,860) or in receipt of State Pension Credit within your household then you may apply.
People who are on low incomes are also encouraged to apply and especially if there are people in your household who are:
- 60 or over
- A child under 16
- A resident child under 20 in full time education
- Disabled child
- Disabled worker
- Disabled pensioner
